El Dorado County Association of Realtors (EDCAR) is in its 6th year of supporting our soldiers through the “Honor our Troops” committee, commonly referred to as H.O.T. It is our desire to support our local military during their deployment by sending them boxes filled with supplies and thoughts from home. Any soldier who is currently in a war zone and from El Dorado County( EDC) or has family living in EDC can be added to our roster. Currently H.O.T. sends out packages 4x a year filled with cards from EDC groups, local publications, candy, socks, toiletries, games and much more. We raise all of our funds locally through individual donations, veteran’s breakfasts, spaghetti feeds and our “adopt a soldier” fund raisers. EDCAR would love to invite you as a community to join us in this worthwhile endeavor.
